Six Two joins Branscombe Group

Posted: 10th November 2020

We’re delighted to announce the acquisition of Six Two by Branscombe Group, a private family owned company uniting great media businesses and supporting their growth ambitions.

Joining Branscombe will bring us opportunities for expansion and investment, and enable us to offer our clients a broader range of marketing communications and Public Relations services working with the other agencies in the Group.

Founded in 2010 by Aaron Taylor and Helen Fairley who will continue to lead the business, Six Two is a web design, development and optimisation agency based in Ashford, Kent.

Six Two are a tight-knit, cross-functional team of designers, developers, strategists and planners, who believe that businesses should be empowered by their website and technology so they feel confident they’re making the right decisions to grow their digital presence.

With a strong focus on quality, we guarantee our websites for 12 months. Our business is based around good values, common sense and doing the right thing for our clients. It’s not about who’s right, it’s about what’s right.

In joining Branscombe Group, we become part of a portfolio of complementary media businesses who are leading the way in providing creative and inspirational services to meet the communications challenges of the business world.

The Group is currently composed of two other Public Relations agencies, Houston and McOnie.

Houston is a London-based communications consultancy taking a holistic approach to communicating to the media, the City, shareholders, industry peers, government, influencers, consumers and employees.

McOnie is a B2B PR and marketing communications agency specialising in health & safety, security, industrial, manufacturing and tech communications.

The addition of Six Two further extends the Group’s ambitions for growth through our design, digital and technology capabilities.

We’re also particularly happy to welcome back Kate Duxbury-Williams as our senior digital consultant and operations manager. Formerly on the team, Kate has deepened her knowledge of conversion rate optimisation, website analytics, data and reporting, which she now brings back to Six Two.

Co-Founder of Six Two, Helen Fairley, said:

“We’re thrilled to join the Branscombe Group. We’ve created one of the best digital agencies in Kent over the past decade, empowering our clients and helping them to do more with their websites than they thought possible, so we’re excited to accelerate our growth and deliver on a local, regional and national scale.

I’m also particularly looking forward to working with our new sister agencies, Houston and McOnie, with whom we share a very similar culture and set of values. We’re already collaborating on a few projects, and they seriously know their stuff when it comes to PR, communications and running fully integrated digital campaigns. This will broaden our own knowledge and expertise and take what we can offer to our clients to a new level.”

Peter Tracey, founder of Branscombe Group, added:

“I am delighted to welcome Six Two to the Branscombe family. Six Two’s capabilities are beyond doubt and from the moment we met them, we were impressed with their focus on delivering a fantastic customer experience and their passion for empowering their customers in the world of website technology. This ethos is shared across the team, and it is reflected in their financial performance.

Branscombe’s vision is to build a Group which unites experts dedicated to delivering exceptional client service and staff wellbeing, sharing our family values. Through this simple approach, we focus on achieving sustainable long-term growth.”
